Follow the below given steps in a way to connect Lightstrips to Hue Bridge via Philips Hue App.
- Open Philips Hue Mobile App and then go to “Settings” section
- Next, tap on the “Light Setup” after that click on “Add Light” in an order to add new Philips Hue Light to your Hue Hub
- You can search more lights and bulbs by clicking on the “Search” button to add more hue lights
When the light founds the next step is to add hue Lightstrips to you room using Philips Hue Mobile App.
- Open Philips Hue App and go to settings
- Next, tap on “Room Setup” and then select the room which you want to add Lightstrips plus. If the room is not created, create a new one.
- Now, click on “Hue Lightstrips Plus” to add to your room and then press save button to continue
- Great! You Philips hue Lightstrips in ready to use.
In case Hue Lightstrips not found, make sure that power is on to hue light and electricity is running properly. Still Hue Lightstrips is not found the follow the below given steps to troubleshoot this Philips Hue Issue.
- Open Philips Hue App and Click on “Add Light” under the light setup section
- Next, click on “+” icon to add a serial number
- You have to enter the 6 digit codes which you will find on receiver box of the Hue lightstrip plus
- Press Done button after successfully entering the serial number
- Click on “Search” button located at bottom of mobile screen.
Still Hue Lightstrips not found after entering Serial number
In case the light doesn’t found after entering accurate serial number then there might be a possibility that your Philips Hue lightstrip plus is out of discovering area of Hue bridge. Try to move your Hue lightstrip plus nearer to Philips Hue bridge and repeat the steps for searching the light again. Even you can move other Hue lights among Philips Hue Bridge and lightstrip plus in a way to extend the wireless signal of Hue Bridge.
